OHL Player Luke Dragusica Under Fire After Brtual Slash To Face That Cut Open Opponent
OHL Luke Dragusica Slash to Face Junior hockey player Luke Dragusica, who plays for the Brampton Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League, is facing severe fan backlash and a lengthy suspension after one of the dirtiest hockey plays you will ever see. The incident occurred late in a game on Friday night between the Steelheads and Oshawa Generals. With Brampton leading 3-0, Dragusica chased down Oshawa player Brady Blaseg and swung his stick, full force, at Blaseg’s head. The stick made contact with both Blaseg’s face and head. He was immediately cut open and began bleeding from the incident. One of the dirtiest plays in a long time in the OHL last night. Luke Dragusica slashes Brady Blaseg across the face, leaving him gushing blood on the ice. The kind of thing that merits a season-long suspension, or more,” Scott Wheeler of The Athletic wrote on X. “Disgusting. Firstly, I hope Blaseg is ok and has a full recovery both physically and mentally. Second – this suspension should be lengthy. I suspect it will,’ Jeff Marek of the Daily Faceoff stated. On Saturday, the OHL officially weighed in. #OHL Disciplinary Action: Brampton’s Luke Dragusica has been suspended pending review as a result of actions (Match, Slashing) on Nov. 14th vs. Oshawa. — Ontario Hockey League (@OHLHockey) November 15, 2025 Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports that the play is “under review” by the league. Alabama Kicker Furiously Blames Long Snapper For Missed Field Goal That Cost Team Game Against Oklahoma
Alabama Kicker For the second year in a row, the Alabama Crimson Tide lost a pivotal SEC matchup to the Oklahoma Sooners that could well dent their College Football Playoff hopes. This time around, the loss was a lot closer than a year ago, when the Sooners routed Bama 24-3 in Norman. Oklahoma went into Tuscaloosa and walked out with a 23-21 victory on Saturday, leading Tide fans to call for the head of second-year coach Kalen DeBoer. But things could well have been much different if not for a missed field goal at the end of the first half. Alabama Kicker Conor Talty Reams Long Snapper David Bird After Missed Field Goal With time expiring in the first half, Alabama kicker Conor Talty missed a 31-yard field goal that would have tied the game at 17 heading into the break. Oklahoma lineman Taylor Wein was credited with a block on the play. But it was unclear whether or not he actually touched the football, and it appeared Talty would have missed wide left either way. However, it was what happened after the kick that caught the attention of fans. The snap was definitely high but that miss is on the kicker. pic.twitter.com/fgJDp2XTLr — Garrit Jacobson (@gjacobson) November 15, 2025 Following the miss, Talty was seen absolutely screaming at Alabama long snapper David Bird. Bird’s snap was slightly high on the play, but the holder appeared to handle it without issue, and it’s hard to say whether or not it affected Talty’s run-up. Either way, it was an absolutely awful look for the young kicker and fans on social media has plenty to say about it. “Had no business yelling at him like that publicly when you’ve only converted 68% of your kicks. Bad look IMO,” one wrote. “If I was that long snapper, I would’ve punched Talty in the face when we got into the locker room,” said another. Ultimately, whether it was on Talty or Bird, the miss proved the be the difference in the game, so both probably wound up feeling pretty bad in the locker room after the final whistle. Alabama Fans Turn On Kalen DeBoer After Second Consecutive Ugly Loss To Oklahoma
Kalen DeBoer Yell Black Hoodie A year ago, the Alabama Crimson Tide‘s College Football Playoff hopes came crashing down when they went into Norman and got blown out by the Oklahoma Sooners, 24-3. This year, the Sooners are a far better team. But for the second year running, the Tide fell to Oklahoma, this time in the friendly confines of Bryant-Denny Stadium. And after the latest loss, Bama fans are beginning to have real doubts about second-year head coach Kalen DeBoer. Alabama Fans Call For Kalen DeBoer’s Head After Oklahoma Loss DeBoer was always going to have a tall task replacing legendary head coach Nick Saban. But he didn’t do himself any favors by missing the inaugural 12-team playoff. This year started out about as poorly as possible, with a blowout loss at the hands of a Florida State team that we now know is not very good. But DeBoer and company steadied the ship, ripping off eight consecutive wins, including big ones over rivals Georgia and Tennessee, to move all the way back up to No. 4 in the polls. Had Alabama won out against Oklahoma, Eastern Illinois, and flailing rival Auburn, it would’ve made the SEC Championship Game and been, more or less, a lock for the playoffs. Instead, the Tide fell to the Sooners, 23-21, and Bama fans let DeBoer hear it. #Alabama lost. Send DeBoer packing. #FireEverybody pic.twitter.com/j5h1Ee5Ln8 — Message Board Geniuses (@BoardGeniuses) November 16, 2025 “Send DeBoer and all of his belongings and all of his family on the next flight to Happy Valley,” one fan wrote, referring to the vacant Penn State job, which he had been linked to. “Can we all stop glazing (offensive coordinator Ryan) Grubb and (quarterback) Ty (Simpson) now? DeBoer’s offense is **** in a real conference and we need to fire our OL and RB coach. Simple as that,” read another. Ultimately, the Tide are still in a decent position to make the playoffs. That is, so long as they beat Auburn on the road in the Iron Bowl… The post Alabama Fans Turn On Kalen DeBoer After Second Consecutive Ugly Loss To Oklahoma appeared first on BroBible.
