The Duffer Brothers Address The 'Stranger Things' Cast Aging In Season 5

My 'Stranger Things'-Inspired Itinerary For Hawkins (Aka Georgia)

Gavin Casalegno Isn't Sure About Jeremiah & Denise's Romance In 'TSITP' Movie
Prime VideoThere aren’t too many big mysteries about the upcoming The Summer I Turned Pretty movie, but Jeremiah’s future is probably the biggest question mark. Fans of Jenny Han’s novels are already assuming the saga-ending film will revolve around Belly and Conrad’s wedding, but the books are less clear about where Conrad’s little brother ends up. The mystery is more complicated because Denise, the woman Jeremiah ends the series kissing, is not in the books at all. So, are they endgame? Even Gavin Casalegno isn’t too convinced the couple may last.“It might be a little too early for him to be jumping back into a relationship — if Gavin was giving advice,” Casalegno told Us Weekly when asked about where his character and Denise will be in the movie. “Whatever makes him happy, go for it. But I am definitely hesitant about a relationship for him.”In the final season of the Prime Video show, Jeremiah is crushed when he and Belly call off their wedding after he learns of her feelings for his brother. To cope, he throws himself into his passion for cooking, and grows closer with his former co-worker Denise in the process. In the show’s final moments, it’s implied Jeremiah and Denise are going to start dating, after sharing a kiss in the Cousins beach house.“I think Denise does see Jeremiah in a different light. Belly growing up with Jeremiah, there’s like a little bit of familiarity that might have stunted things,” Casalegno said. “Denise is more real and brings different parts of Jeremiah out of him — but I don’t know if that is a good or bad thing.”Prime VideoWhile Casalegno has his reservations about Jeremiah moving too fast with Denise, he admitted that he’s only speculating about what may happen, since he currently has no clue what will go down in the upcoming movie.“I don’t have a script. I don’t have anything,” Casalegno said. “I know I’m filming next year so I don’t even know what it’s going to be about. Your guess is as good as mine.”

The impact of rising food prices has been felt over the past few months, and your Thanksgiving feast may be no exception. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service show that the main dishes — turkey, roast beef, and chicken — have seen the steepest price increases over the past year. According to USDA data, turkey prices rose from $1.28 per pound in September 2024 to $2 per pound in November 2025, a 56.25% increase. Meanwhile, the cost of roast beef rose from $7.58 to $9.04 per pound (up 19.26%), and chicken breast rose from $3.97 to $4.17 per pound (up 5.04%), according to BLS data. Flour (-1.75%), bread (-5.55%), and butter (-4%) also declined in price. According to Datasembly, a market research company that surveys weekly prices at 150,000 U.S. stores, said a basket of 11 Thanksgiving staples costs $61.14, or 7.09%. more than last year. Flu season is just beginning, but doctors are already on high alert
The flu has started spreading earlier than usual in some parts of the country, prompting concerns that cases could soon erupt as millions of Americans travel and gather for Thanksgiving and other upcoming holidays. The warning signs come as a form of the virus, called H3N2 subclade K, has set off massive outbreaks in Canada and the U.K. Dr. Cameron Wolfe, an infectious disease specialist at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, said he’s noted a sharp increase in flu cases over the past few weeks. “Typically, I might see one or two cases a week at this point,” Wolfe said. “At the moment, we’ve had two, three, four per day coming in.” Alicia Budd, head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s domestic influenza surveillance team, said: “We certainly do expect we’re going to see influenza activity increasing over the next several weeks.” The majority of flu circulating so far this season in the U.S. is theH3N2 strain, according to the CDC. H3N2 flus tend to cause more hospitalizations and deaths in older adults. An early uptick in cases, Wolfe said, can create unique risks for this age group. “If you’re seeing a really early flu season, you run the risk that some nursing homes may not have finished their vaccine deployments. Maybe a hospital hasn’t fully vaccinated its staff,” Wolfe said. “The community in general may not be as protected as it might have been if a virus turns up in January, for example.” While flu activity is considered low overall, the CDC’s latest flu report shows cases are on the rise. The agency estimates that at least 650,000 people have had the flu so far this season. Around 7,400 people have been hospitalized and 300 have died, according to the report. The uptick in cases and emergency room visits are occurring mostly in children, Budd said. Health & Wellness 6 hours ago People with more muscle mass and less visceral fat have younger brains, study finds Health Nov 21 Washington state man believed to be first to die from a rare strain of bird flu Last year, 280 children in the U.S. died from the flu. It was the deadliest flu season ever recorded for children, aside from the 2009-10 H1N1 pandemic. No pediatric deaths have been reported so far this season. Still, the early rise in flu activity is unsettling for doctors who spent last winter watching the virus sweep through schools, day cares and, consequently, hospitals. “It feels like the calm before the storm,” said Dr. Buddy Creech, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. “We may have a difficult influenza year.” The majority of flu circulating so far this year is an A strain, called H3N2, according to the CDC. H3N2 is known for its ability to mutate easily. This particular H3N2 variant, referred to as subclade K, popped up over the summer, after the makeup of this year’s flu shots had been set. It’s already caused massive outbreaks in Canada and the U.K. Budd, of the CDC, said the agency is studying how well the flu vaccine matches this latest flu strain. Still, she encouraged people to get the shot. “Even in years where the strain in the vaccine may not be as similar to the strains that we’re seeing circulating, we know that the vaccine can help prevent severity of illness,” Budd said. Doctors across the U.S. are closely monitoring increases in flu cases. “Does it turn on our antenna a little bit more? Yes,” said Dr. Daniel Varga, chief physician executive at Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey. “It makes us be even more vigilant at looking at the traditional monitoring we do locally.” Dr. Melanie Kitagawa, medical director of the pediatric intensive care unit at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, said it’s still not too late to get a flu shot. “The more people we can get vaccinated prior to the start of the flu season, the better it’s going to be,” Kitagawa said.

USPS plans to raise shipping rates in 2026
The price to ship that package through the U.S. Postal Service is about to get more expensive. The USPS filed a notice Friday with the Postal Regulatory Commission asking for price adjustments for certain shipping services. The Postal Service said it would not raise mailing service prices, meaning the price of First Class stamps — which went up to 78 cents in July — will remain the same. The request for the increase came on the same day that USPS released it’s 2025 financial report, showing $9 billion in losses in fiscal 2025. Unlike most federal agencies, the USPS doesn’t receive taxpayer money to fund operations. It relies instead on revenue from selling stamps and shipping services. The new prices will go into effect starting Jan. 18, 2026. Here’s what to know about the increases: How much more will it cost to ship a package using USPS? The prices for Priority Mail services are based on the package’s weight and the distance it’s being shipped. Currently prices start at $10.45 for packages and $11.90 for a flat-rate Priority Mail envelope. For Priority Mail Express, packages start at $32.50 and flat rate envelopes start at $33.40. USPS Ground Advantage starts at $7.20 Priority Mail service will increase 6.6%. Priority Mail Express will increase 5.1%. USPS Ground Advantage will rise 7.8%. Parcel Select will increase 6%.
