Three former college basketball players with state of Alabama ties were among 20 people indicted by federal authorities in a sweeping probe regarding the alleged fixing of college games in the U.S. and professional games in China.
Of the defendants, 15 are current or former college basketball players. The other five defendants were described by authorities as fixers.
