Yes i wanted tomlin gone for years for bone headed things, timeouts, play calling, etc. The Steelers have changed all the players and coaches and GM except Head Coach and Rooney. So now we can look and see was it really Tomlin or Rooney where the problem lies.
The Question that i have and might answer my thought process is, compared to other teams did Rooney invest in support staff. Like dedicated replay staff, assistants, etc. The real question is how much were the OC/DC paid versus other OC/DCs. Was Rooney being cheap and limiting who Tomlin could hire? Coaches and players can only do so much against opponent's who have better support staff, facilities, food, coaches, etc.
