I’m not saying Pickett was a first round quarterback, however what chance of success did he actually have with Matt Canada, a JV offensive line, and a WR core consisting of Dionte Johnson and James Washington?
The top WR prospects will be gone by pick 21. Go trim some high priced contracts from those not earning them. Go get Alec Pierce who is much more talented than DK. Draft another WR in rounds 3-5, and get a real safety, physical MLB, and Nose tackle. Benton is a 5 tech and is out of position. Derrick Harmon’s old teammate at Oregon is a generational athletic specimen at DT. 6’3” 330 and runs like a deer. He will likely move up the boards but one can hope.
