Months after a Walt Disney World Resort guest captured a photo of someone misusing a photo-op at Disney Springs, the same guest reported that the oversized structure had disappeared. The Disney Parks fan shared an image of an empty space where the giant sculpture once stood.
Guests Misuse Disney Springs Attraction

In November 2025, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @magiccitymayhem shared photos of a man sitting on an “I Love Disney Springs” photo opportunity at the Marketplace Co-Op store at Walt Disney World Resort. The social media user shamed the guest, who had prevented other families from using the sculpture for its intended purpose: taking a picture.
Dear park people, don’t sit on photo-ops.

When another Disney Parks fan asked whether the man appeared to be waiting for someone else to finish shopping, @magiccitymayhem said his travel partner was mere steps away, blocking another walkway.
His travel companion was in a scooter to their right block half of the only path to get to the rest of the co-op due to the other side being a queue

Now, months later, the heart hands statue has disappeared from Disney Springs.
Walt Disney World Says “Enough”

On January 13, @magiccitymayhem reported that Walt Disney World Resort had removed the photo opportunity from the Marketplace Co-Op store. The change came just weeks after Disney also removed the D-Tech customization kiosk from the same merchandise location.
This photo op has been removed and all the ropes and stands in front of the Drop Shop have been taken away. Feels like they want you to shop there now.

Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t issued a statement on the removal of this photo-op. It’s unclear whether the change is temporary or permanent, or whether a new photo-op will replace the old one.
