It comes as no surprise that Hawaii’s U.S. Sens. Mazie Hirono and Brian Schatz and U.S. Rep. Jill Tokuda join authoritarians Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un in condemning the arrest and detention of Nicolas Maduro. In my view, Hirono, Schatz and Tokuda have done zero to lessen the flow of dangerous narcotics to the streets of our nation and our state.
