

The E. W. Scripps Company has hired Madhavi Tadikonda to serve as the broadcaster’s new Director of Network Sales, the company announced on Tuesday.
In her new role, Tadikonda will oversee sales initiatives for various Scripps properties, including its multicast networks like Laff, Bounce TV, Court TV and Newsy; the Scripps Sports division and Ion Television. She reports to Tony Song, the Head of Network and Advanced Media Sales at Scripps.
“Madhavi brings an outstanding reputation and a proven track record from the agency side, where she built and led investment teams, negotiated highvalue partnerships and delivered growth for many of the world’s most recognizable brands,” Song said in a statement on Tuesday. “Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the media landscape make her a valuable addition to Scripps’ sales organization. We could not be more thrilled to have her on board.”
Tadikonda comes to Scripps from EssenceMediacom, where she served as the Executive Director and Head of Investment, overseeing client partnerships with brands and companies like Adidas, Coca-Cola, Target, JPMorgan Chase and American Airlines, among others.
Before her time at EssenceMediacom, Tadikonda worked for Havas Media Group and Canvas Worldwide after starting her career at Bates Worldwide and McCann Erickson.
Throughout her career, Tadikonda has received numerous industry recognitions, including U.S. Campaign’s Media Buyer of the Year in 2021, The Drum’s 2020 Women of Color in Marketing Who Matter and 4A’s Vanguard Executive Sponsor.
Tadikonda will continue to work in New York City.
