Staff editorial: In the new year, let’s strengthen connection at GW

For many at GW, in D.C. and across the country, 2025 was a difficult year defined by uncertainty and division. As an editorial board, we looked back on the year with a shared sense of uncertainty about the changes ahead. Through these reflections, we kept returning to the importance of community on campus. The success of this community depends on all its members — students, faculty, staff and officials — working together to support one another.
