We’ve seen some pretty cool projectors at CES this year from a ton of different brands, and it’s clear that there’s no shortage of impressive features to go around. Take for example Acer’s new Vero HL1820, a 4K UHD home cinema projector that’s designed to keep up with gaming sessions in addition to more standard cinematic experiences.
Acer says that the projector uses advanced RGB laser technology with independent diodes, and is capable of delivering 5500 lumens of brightness while covering 106% of the BT.2020 colour gamut, in addition to a 3,500,000:1 contrast ratio for deep blacks and crisp highlights. For gaming, the Vero HL1820 supports a 240 Hz refresh rate with an ultra-low 4.2 ms latency when running at 1080p.
Other features include a built-in 15-watt speaker, 1.6x optical zoom, 360-degree projection capability, and advanced keystone correction tools that allow it to fit into almost any room layout. The projector is also built with an IP6X dust-resistance rating and a mercury-free laser engine that can last up to 30,000 hours.
The Acer Vero HL1820 is scheduled to launch for EMEA markets in March 2026, with retail prices starting at EUR 1,499.
