Most US oil is produced in the USA, they only swap it for heavier oil. With effort they can re-tool their refineries. The US has 2 large oceans and a big Gulf (of America?) between it an any adversaries. So internal pipelines are unlikely to be taken out.
Meanwhile China's imports are easy to stop.
