Perhaps you draw on experience in SE Asia where Ch were targeted in Indon. Malay, Viet, Ph etc.
Latin America might all speak Spanish, but they are very diverse, and the Colombians are not liked in Venezuela (and vice versa) or in Guyana (vice versa), etc, etc, etc.
There will be many in most Latin American countries who want them to go home.
Just like many in SE Asia want rid of the Chinese (who might have lived there for 5 gens)
