- Bayern Munich battled extremely hard against a tight, low block…all while using a makeshift lineup. The players and coaches should be commended for their adaptability.
- Lennart Karl had a rare off day. The youngster did not look like himself. After the match, there was speculation that he might have still been dealing with some of the after-effects of an illness.
- It was a shame to miss out on Aleksandar Pavlović and Tom Bischof having a chance to start together.
- Michael Olise was a bad dude in that match.
- Jonas Urbig proved again he is up to the task.
