The funds, intended solely for women as part of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana, were accidentally sent due to 'technical glitches.' Several recipients have already spent the money on festival expenses and livestock, leading to difficulty in reclaiming the funds.
State officials have issued notices for repayment, but affected villagers, including disabled beneficiaries, express inability to return the money. The situation has raised concerns about the scheme's implementation and drawn criticism from opposition parties alleging politically motivated fund distribution.
