Jordan Stolz dashes to 1000m gold in track record time at Hamar World Cup

Summer Britcher made a statement with her women's singles luge gold in Park City, the first U.S. gold on the World Cup circuit since last November and Britcher's first since 2018. Ashley Farquharson also finished third.

Americans Zachary Di Gregorio and Sean Hollander combined for silver in men's doubles luge at the World Cup stop in Park City, Utah, just missing out on gold by 51 thousandths of a second.

Just one month after adding the mass start to his World Cup catalog, Jordan Stolz came away with a gold medal, his fifth at the Hamar World Cup. Stolz finished the race in 7:40.18 minutes.

In his fourth race of the weekend in Hamar, Jordan Stolz battled through the finish line, outpacing Poland's Damian Zurek by just 0.001 seconds for gold. The race marked his fifth 500m win of the season.

In his first race at the World Cup stop in Hamar, Norway, Jordan Stolz skated the 500m in 33.97 seconds, beating a track record previously held by Dutch rival Jenning de Boo, the runner-up, for a third-straight race.
