Given that humans are behind the wheel, and that humans are involved in the accidents, there are very few other causes for the accidents... so yes, 94% seems like a normal number for "human error"... But i wonder... if a driverless car was going 40mph and a kid ran out into the road, would the car magically stop in time?...i would like to see a driverless car in a built up area with many kids and people -- i think most people would end up getting out the car and walk because it would be quick -- the car would be going so slow and stopping all the time.
