Short-handed UAB snaps road losing streak at Tulsa to end season

Playing with nearly half its roster, UAB did something it hasn’t done in more than three years. The Blazers snapped a 17-game road losing streak on Saturday with a 31-24 win at Tulsa.

UAB (4-8, 2-6) managed to win despite missing more than 40 players. Following last weekend’s stabbing incident, the Blazers gave each player on its roster the opportunity to sit out. After dealing with several absences during last week’s loss to South Florida, UAB’s depth was further depleted in its final game of the season.
