Once Curly of the Three Stooges called out in a 1935 film Pop Goes the Easel, “Look at the grouse!” but that was after Moe prompted him with few kicks to the rear and a head bop. Initially during the skit, Curly said while looking the ceiling, “I don’t see any grouse.”
