Elizabeth Olsen was a recent guest on the Today Show. The actress stars in the movie Eternity alongside Miles Teller. She plays a recently deceased woman who has one week to decide who she wants to spend eternity with – her husband or her first love.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Elizabeth Olsen shared a conversation she had with Sheinelle Jones during her Today appearance. “Before I went on, [Jones] said, ‘Not to bring it down or anything, but I lost my husband earlier this year, and I watched your movie yesterday. I really enjoyed it, and it really created a sense of comfort for me. I actually felt a sort of healing,’ ” Elizabeth Olsen told the outlet about the conversation.

Today Host Gives Life Update After Husband’s Tragic Death

Wicked stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were also guests on the Today Show on the same day as Elizabeth Olsen. They were promoting the Wicked: For Good movie that came out on November 21.

Sheinelle Jones did the interview. She revealed how much courage she found in the characters played by the actresses. “You guys both know that I am grieving. I carry two things everywhere I go: I move forward, but I’m also grieving,” she said.

The Today host continued, “And when I went into the theater to screen this movie, it was transcendent for me in a way that I didn’t know I needed.”

“To see these characters be strong and brave and vulnerable. And I’m sitting there thinking, ‘Okay, if these women can do this on the screen, so can I in my own way, ‘ ” Sheinelle Jones told the Wicked stars.

Sheinelle Jones’ loss has touched viewers and her co-hosts. She revealed that she’s received countless letters and messages from fans who have been through the heartbreaking loss of a spouse. While it never gets easier, life goes on. The Today Show host and her family are slowly healing from the unspeakable loss.
