Fugitive's 38-Year Run Ends: Arrested After High Court Order

After nearly four decades, Pradeep Kumar Saxena, wanted for the 1987 murder of his brother Sanjeev, has been detained by police following a directive from the Allahabad High Court, announced officials.

Saxena, who adopted the name Abdul Rahim and converted to Islam to evade capture, was identified and seized by a special police unit in Moradabad. The operation came after his brother hinted at his whereabouts.

The arrest followed relentless interrogations and research in the community where Saxena resided under his alias for approximately 30 years.
