Gold Rush Whitewater was always crazy.
They basically never found much gold. Each of the guys made a few thousand dollars for months of work plus salaries from Discovery.
They're in Alaska. They could have found more gold with a 3 foot $100 sluice box along any creek or river bank. It would have been more exciting for them to actually find gold!
