Major repairs at the Pacifica Pier are causing traffic headaches for people in the area.
Construction crews are expected to begin moving a large crane to the shore Thursday, which will be used to stabilize the cracked pier.
It could take crews up to five days to position the crane, while the overall repair phase is expected to last at least three months.
The pier has been closed since June, when engineers discovered major cracking.
