The Chargers started a whopping four rookie offensive linemen against the Broncos last week. Despite that fact, plus all their top wideouts out die to various injuries, the Chargers had a chance to win with a seven-point lead in the fourth quarter.

In this week’s Reacts poll, I asked you all to vote for who the most impressive rookie lineman was. With a runaway victory, it was offensive tackle Travis Burke who started at left tackle in place of Rashawn Slater. He received 75 percent of the vote while left guard Logan Taylor was next with a distant 13 percent.

Alex Harkey, who started at right tackle, did not receive a single vote.

As for the weekly confidence check-in, the fan base actually saw an uptick to 10 percent, up from last week’s season-low six percent.

Even in a loss, the fans saw something that sparked a bit of hope, albeit just a small, small blip before the eventual collapse.
