In Chicago, the more pizza, the better — and four local pizzeria just ranked among DoorDash’s list of “Top Local Pizza Spots” for 2026.
The list, released Tuesday by the online ordering website, highlights “small and medium-sized pizzerias across the country,” editors said. Overall, spots that made the list must have fewer than 10 locations, at least 1,000 DoorDash reviews and “rank among the highest for average consumer ratings from September 2025 through September 2026.”
The list is seperated by region, with pizzerias from the Midwest, Northeast, South and West ranked. In each region, 10 spots made the list.
Four of the Midwest ten’s pizza spots were in Chicago:
- Happy Camper Pizza – Lakeview
- Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe – Ravenswood
- Piece Pizzeria & Brewery – Wicker Park
- Robert’s Pizza & Dough Company – Streeterville
Other pizza places that made the Midwest list were Greco’s Pizza in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Brenz Pizza Co in Columbus, Ohio and IL Gusto Pizza and Pasta in Cincinnati.
The rankings, DoorDash said, were released in honor of National Pizza Month, which is celebrated in October.
