Chargers Injury Report: Little progress for injured Bolts Thursday

From Wednesday to Thursday, there was very little movement, in any direction, for the laundry list of injured Chargers.

Every player who was DNP to begin the week also sat out a second consecutive practice. All but one player who was limited on Wednesday were once again limited. Cornerback Rodney Shelley is the lone player to go from limited to DNP, further painting a scary picture for the cornerback room ahead of this week’s date with the Chiefs.

Despite not being placed on IR, offensive guard Kayode Awosika is trending to miss his fourth game while rehabbing a fibula injury he sustained in Week Two.

Wide receiver Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and Brenen Thompson are all trending in the right direction while Tre’ Harris was DNP yet again. My question here is: Is it worth it to bring back your injured skill players one week before the bye against an undefeated opponent? I’m not so sure, to be frank.
