A woman was arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man inside an apartment in Germantown, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
On Wednesday, police shared details about the arrest of Marianne Lara Wright, 34, who is facing multiple charges in the stabbing death of Dorakoma Lim, 37, on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Just before 7 p.m. on Oct. 1, officers responded to a third-floor apartment in the 600 block of East Chelten Avenue after receiving a report of a “hospital case.”
When police arrived, they found Lim stabbed to death inside the apartment, according to officials.
Police said an examination revealed that Lim died after sustaining multiple stab wounds.
Wright was charged with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse and possessing an instrument of crime (PIC).
