The NFL has roughly passed the first quarter of the season mark at this point (technically after one quarter of play next week), and as is the case with every iteration of our Miami Dolphins, there are early surprises, both the good surprises and the surprises that are really more struggles than anything positive. I suspect that the surprises are never more obvious than at the beginning of a rebuild, which some of us are weathered veterans of, having been through multiple of these “rebuilds” of something that never really ever seems completed. So are they really rebuilds if the build is never completed?

What are your biggest surprises with the 2026-2027 version of our Miami Dolphins, both good and bad with this team and roster thus far, through four games of the season?
