First off - the fact that so many experts and fans are saying DJ Moore should be traded puts a very different light on the "great" Carolina trade so many Poles fans love to suggest proves Poles is a good GM. Remember - Poles not only traded for him, he extended him for WR1 money. That's aging like fine curdled milk.
Which brings us to the second point - if so many of you, and so many experts think that the Bears should try and get rid of his contract, WHY would another GM take it? They can read stats, and analyst opinions, too right?
Who are you going to find who is as inept as Poles? And yes, I know there are a few options around the NFL that you cite as inept GMs.
But that's the whole point of the exercise - take a good look at those names. And then ask yourself - how many of them will trade for Poles' poor contract? I await the names, they should be amusing.
