At the time of its launch, two years ago, Cap de Barbaria was the first electric passenger and cargo ferry in Spain, proven to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 30% compared to its predecessor. Now, this pioneering vessel is about to become a floating laboratory for hydrogen research, as it will test Europe's first autonomous e-methanol system for auxiliary power in real-world conditions.
