*It’s happening, folks! We had a little taste of game action with the Rookie Series last weekend to hold us over, but we’re getting into some even more competitive games this week. The Flyers kick off their abbreviated slate of preseason action tonight in Hershey. But before that, they took care of some business and trimmed down their roster a bit. [BSH]
*Though he was ultimately one of those first cuts, Maksim Sokolovskii was certainly making his presence known through those early goings of camp. [BSH]
*It’s been a competitive camp, across the board, that’s for sure! [BSH]
*And there’s no shortage of intriguing young players looking to make a push for a spot with the big club out of camp. [BSH]
*Could one of those be Jett Luchanko? (Maybe not, but he’s shown some pop early, at least). [BSH]
*Speaking of competitive, though, the Flyers put on a scrimmage on Saturday in front of a packed house, and it certainly was a spirited bout, and there was a lot that we could pull from it!
