Maaan, they REALLY should have dropped the expensive CPU, ram and storage, and just focus on making a "dumb" wireless HMD for PCVR.
They could have reduced the price substantially... or actually put 2.5k mOLED displays instead of taking Reverb's 8 year old displays out of the returns bin.
But noooo... they had to make something that can run their OS. Dude, it runs Alyx worse than my 10 year old laptop 1070, which I played with all settings maxed out at twice the FPS. What the fuck were they thinking?
