You'd think the league would get involved if Bowers is either doubtful or out and then suddenly plays Sunday. For one it obviously isn't how the injury report works. And for two the betting crowd (not me) could have a potential lawsuit if a team isn't correctly stating who is and isn't injured and the true severity of those injuries. That 2nd one is going to happen eventually and that's a huge drawback for the NFL from accepting gambling money.
