Fox Corporation-owned Red Seat Ventures has launched a new live streaming feature on its platform Supercast, which allows creators to deliver real-time programming and other perks to their subscribers, the company announced on Tuesday. Creators can connect their existing streaming software to Supercast and broadcast directly through the platform. Subscribers receive app or email notifications when creators schedule or begin streams. The feature combines live video with real-time chat, polls and paid message pinning, which allows subscribers to keep comments prominently displayed during a broadcast.
