The Indianapolis Colts (0-0) host the Baltimore Ravens (0-0)(-3.5) for the regular season opener at 1 PM EST in the friendly confines of Lucas Oil Stadium—which the roof will be closed.

The game will be televised on CBS with Andrew Catalon (play-by-play) and Logan Ryan (analyst) handling the TV duties, while Colts fans can tune in on 93.5 and 107.5 The Fan and 97.1 Hank FM featuring Matt Taylor (play-by-play), Charles Arbuckle (analyst), and Larra Overton (sideline). Regarding the Ravens, first-year head coach Jesse Minter will look to improve a defense that underachieved last season, but will do so without starting defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), who’s already been ruled out.
Otherwise, defensively, the Colts will face the challenge of trying to limit both dual-threat former 2x NFL MVP QB Lamar Jackson, as well as perennial All-Pro running back Derrick Henry, who they are very familiar from his prior time punishing the AFC South with the Tennessee Titans.
Offensively for Indy, it’ll mark the return of starting quarterback Daniel Jones from a season-ending torn Achilles, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fares against an opposing defense going full speed and contact again.
The Colts lead the all-time series 11-7-0, and during the last time these two teams met, former Colts kicker Matt Gay converted a game-winning 53-yard field goal in overtime to beat Baltimore, 22-19, on September 24, 2023.
