Adan Diggs, a Top Ten recruit, has cut his list down to seven. Duke and UNC are both on the list, as is Arkansas, Kentucky, Kansas, Southern Cal, and Arizona.
A 6-4 combo guard, Diggs has modeled his game on Devin Booker and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
He’s a very promising player, but Arizona is seen as the current leader, and the Wildcats, generally speaking, do a great job recruiting in-state.
But not always. Cameron Williams came East to play for Duke, and Jon Scheyer has proven to be as fine a recruiter as there is in the country.
As always, we’ll have to wait to see how things play out.
