Although this was already known, four-star combo guard Jalen Davis, out of Bremerton, Washington, will be taking his official visit with the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Nov. 7 for the 2026-27 home opener against the New Mexico State Aggies.
Along with the Zags, Davis will check out four additional schools this fall. First-year coach Michael Malone, out in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, was a late addition to his previous top-10 college choices.

A rumored trip to Oxford, Mississippi, with the Ole Miss Rebels could happen sometime this month as well.
Rivals ranks the 6-3, 165-pounder as the Class of 2027’s No. 18 overall prospect, No. 6 for his position, and No. 1 player coming out of the state of Washington. Hailing from the western part of the state, the 18-year-old Davis plays mostly off-ball but can also make an impact in the passing lanes.
During his standout junior high school season, the high-volume scorer was awarded Washington’s Gatorade Player of the Year honor with averages of 31.5 points on 63.9 field goal percentage and 40.0 three-point percentage, 9.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and a whopping 5.8 steals per contest. He has won back-to-back Class 2A state championships with Bremerton.
As for four-star wing Gene Roebuck III of La Mirada, California, he plans to be in Spokane, Washington, for Kraziness in the Kennel on Oct. 3. This will be his second time checking out the campus, as the 6-4, 180-pound talent took an unofficial visit back on Nov. 3-4, 2025.
Roebuck, the No. 45-ranked overall recruit in the 2027 recruiting class, also has two additional official visits in Seattle, Washington, and Berkeley, California.

The TCU Horned Frogs and USC Trojans are in the mix for potential drop-ins. It seems likely that the West Coast native will stay in the Pacific Time Zone.
Across three years at La Mirada, Roebuck has averaged 22.2 points on 55 percent from the field/38 percent on three-pointers/81 percent at the free-throw line, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists across 79 games played. He was named the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year and is one of the top perimeter defenders in the country.
Both Johnson and Roebuckk had busy summers with stops at the Adidas EuroCamp in Treviso, Italy, and the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on top of playing through their respective AAU circuits. Gonzaga’s lone 2027 commit, 6-7 four-star point guard Dooney Johnson, would be thrilled to have either of them join him at the McCarthey Athletic Center in a little over a year.
Davis would especially complement Johnson’s playing style in the future backcourt under coach Mark Few. Johnson, representing Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recently announced that he has transferred to East River in Orlando, Florida, for his final high school campaign.
