With this offensive line and Washington what do we if Jeremiyah Love was available when when we're up in the draft? Yes I know we need a quarterback and at least one receiver, but isn't the identity they're trying to build offensively is a physical running team.
I'm a Notre Dame fan and probably have an irrational view of Love, but I think he's the best offensive college player I've seen this year. If you're hoping for Will Howard to be the eventual quarterback this might be a move to help with that transition. A strong running game is invaluable to a young quaterback.
I think Jaylen Warren is a good back. Kenneth Gainwell has proven himself. I also don't think you should let good get in the way of great. I think Love has a chance to be great. Especially if he's behind this offensive line and Mount Washington.
