Javon Tracy is the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week

It should not be any surprise that Javon Tracy was named the Big Ten’s Special Teams Player of the Week after the senior returned two punts for touchdowns in the Gophers’ 59-7 win over Eastern Illinois.

After years of futility, the Minnesota Special teams made a significant impact. This was Tracy’s first game returning punts in his career and he became the fourth player in Big Ten history to return two punts for touchdowns in one game.
