Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority officials have successfully replaced two out of the three escalators that run between the street level and the mezzanine level and are currently in the process of replacing the third street-to-mezzanine escalator, which is on track to be operational by Oct. 9, according to the spokesperson.
