At first glance, it may seem that the GW student body has earned its reputation as inordinately passionate about politics. Most of the student body spends their summers working for their senators and representatives and spends their school semesters at Capitol Hill. But while our student body focuses on national politics and issues, they are forgetting about something closer to home — our local government.
