If the state needs more 100,000 units, total, just to meet the demand from the previous decade-plus’s worth of population growth, how is 40,000 in ten years going to actually solve that? Especially when we know Weiser is going to be welcoming both foreign mass immigration with open arms, and national in-migration from other states (Weiser himself is a New Yorker, not a Coloradan), like his predecessors did?
Unless the state and especially the Denver metro have an actual population decline, you’re never going to get there. Supply and demand doesn’t knuckle under to “social justice” emotional manipulation, and the math always wins.
