I am fully in favor of red light cameras! As a driver, I pause to look both ways each time I am driving the lead car, waiting for the light to change. It is surprising that so many hit the gas when the light turns red, rather than stop. Another thing cameras could catch are hit and run drivers. Again, I’m appalled at the number of drivers who don’t feel responsible to stop after causing an accident.
