You want to have your draft class provide depth and a few starters/big contributors in their rookie year. You want them to have good ceilings in the future. Colston, Luther, Kyle are regular contributors and have cemented themselves as part of the future. You can add Turner and Ozzie as well. Theo is a good example of the depth you bring in with UDFA’s. All-in-all it was a good draft class in the 1st year of the Ben/Poles/Allen collaboration. . No apologies needed. It was liked by most publications like Bleacher-Report, PFF and several national evaluators like ESPN grading the draft between B+ to A grades. Would it have been graded lower if Johnson’s name wasn’t attached to it? I don’t know or care, because this is the new Bears and people need to accept that and allow them space to establish themselves or just move on to a team you like better. Nobody should really give a shit what I or any other poster says.
