Well, James, it seems to me that he is a perp. He is committing what many would consider fraud with his posts and declarations. Saying you've done things you know you have not is called lying and fraud. Any company would fire him for lying on his application and resume about these sorts of accomplishments.
He's using his unfortunate accident in a fraudulent way. To gain sympathy and power.
He should be commended for his tough work in recovery. No doubt about that. It does not give him license to lie though.
He should not be allowed to lie about things that are not factual. Things he has not done.
