Millions of people are hurting – losing their jobs, their health coverage, their homes and their apartments. Many are also at risk of severe food insecurity heading into 2021. Yet, the chattering classes' main talking points are centered on who benefits politically from issuing a one-time, $2,000 survival check: President Trump or Speaker Pelosi.
For shame.
$2,000 a month for individuals, $4,000 a month for couples, $5,000 a month for families living in the same housing unit.
