Pender County urges residents to prepare for winter weather

The Brunswick County District Attorney’s Office has concluded its investigation into a January 2 shooting on Dixie Drive in Leland that left one man dead.

Due to predicted weather conditions this weekend, Bitty & Beau's Coffee has decided to postpone their 10 year anniversary celebration.

Columbus County officials continue to closely monitor weather conditions as winter weather and dangerously cold temperatures are expected to impact the region this weekend and into early next week.

Here in the Cape Fear region, it looks like Bladen County could feel the biggest impacts from the storm.
