MM 1.22: Maryland football’s Alan Herron set to participate in American Bowl All-Star Game

Maryland football offensive lineman Alan Herron is set to take part in the American Bowl All-Star Game, it was announced in a release Wednesday.

The American Bowl is in its inaugural year, and its mission is to bring together NFL Draft eligible players for an all-star event focused on on-field performance, as well as leadership and service. The two teams at the American Bowl will be coached by NFL veterans Brian Billick and Mike Smith.

Herron was named an All-Big Ten honorable mention after starting all 12 of Maryland’s games at right tackle in 2025. In his two seasons with the Terps, he has started all 24 games.
