Seems to me, the players spend far more time at the South Side, your hunch is yours. The last article by Saunders cites the Steelers' South Side locker room, 18 Aug 2025, as problematic, 6th-worst in league, per the NFLPA poll.
The University could decide to disband their football team, that could help a bit with the situation with space on the South Side. Heck, it would help with the turf at Acrisure, too, come to think of it.
