
Hong Kong stocks wavered on Thursday, with the benchmark holding up on the back of a global rebound in risk assets after US President Donald Trump rescinded the tariff threat against Europe and a sell-off in Japanese bonds came to a tentative halt.
The Hang Seng Index advanced by as much as 0.7 per cent before slipping 0.1 per cent to 26,558.28 at the noon break. The Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 0.4 per cent.
