Texas data centers could consume 161 billion gallons of water annually by 2030
Data centers such as this one operated by DataBank in Houston are already heavy consumers of water, and Texas is building dozens more.

A new study by the Houston Advanced Research Center cautions that Texas has a 'structural blind spot' when it comes to how much water the industry will consume.
